UK developer Amazon Property has raised £250m (€291m) for a fund to invest in joint venture opportunities in logistics, offices, students, life sciences and retirement.

Amazon Capital said it has provided £100m of equity and debt/bank financing to the fund, which will provide private equity financing to joint venture partners/developers and asset managers in alternative sectors .

Over the past two years, Amazon Property has focused on joint venture investments and commercial assets and is now poised for further expansion with a new wave of private equity funding and entry into the care/retirement sector. under Amazon Care, the company said.
