CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) today announced leadership changes within its Real Estate Investments business line and its subsidiary Trammell Crow Company.

Mike lafitte, Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Real Estate Investments, will take on additional responsibilities as CEO of Trammell Crow Company, the real estate development arm of CBRE.

Matt Khourie, the current CEO of Trammell Crow Company, will occupy a newly created position – Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Real Estate Investments, reporting to Mr. Lafitte. In this role, Mr. Khourie will focus on allocating CBRE equity to direct real estate investments and funds as well as initiatives related to real estate investments. Mr. Lafitte and Mr. Khourie will take up their new functions on January 1, 2021.

In addition, Mr. Khourie will assume the role of CIO of Trammell Crow Company on April 1, 2021, when the current CIO of the company, Craig cheney, will retire.

Adam weers will be promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Trammell Crow Company on April 1, 2021, when the company’s current COO, Mike duffy, will retire. Mr. Weers was director of the Washington, DC office of Trammell Crow Company for nine years and led key development projects. In his new role, he will administer the investment and executive committee approval processes of Trammell Crow Company, and oversee its marketing, communications, human resources, legal / risk management, and digital and technology. He will report to Mr. Lafitte.
